Here's the invitation of the 'The Undregraduate', presented by the Toyota Community Spirit Gallery. I am one of the finalists.

I 'll be part of the 2011 CCP Kodak Salon. I have submitted the 4 portraits I had shown at the 'inside is out, outside is in' exhibition at the Colour Factory last October.

The Kodak Salon will open on April 14th 2011 (I will be there!) and runs until June 4th 2011.

On Saturday 6 February was the opening for the Linden Postcard Show for which I had submitted 2 works which were exploring the theme of the Day of the Dead, the Hispanic cultural celebration. The crowd seemed smaller than the one present at the same show but 2 years ago. Nearly 2000 pieces were displayed at the gallery. Trying to carefully inspect each piece is impossible in one visit. It's worth going to see the show for the variety of media used and simply for the inspiration.

The Linden Postcard Show runs until 27 March 2010.

Last Friday was the opening of Photography 10A at the Brunswick Street Gallery. I was part of the exhibit as well as An Bao, Andrew Johnson, Caro Telfer, Jodi Keet, David-Ashley Kerr, Kurt Sorenson, Mark Noke, Philippe Buscailhon, Rebecca Anne Lee, Sam Burns, and Sheridan Mills. There was a good turn out, besides the friends and family who dropped by. I also ran into photographers I've met at past exhibits. The show runs until Jan. 28th 2010.

For this exhibit, I presented my works using various media. I digressed from the traditional print on the wall to an installation. I used poster glue, a door, LED lights, and printing paper for my project. The unpolished-street look adds a dimension to my works as my project is an homage to urban art. I used 2 night shots for the installation and both were taken on black and white grainy film. I wanted to compare and contrast the concept of "performance" between the 2 works.
